Paley’s Place Imports Pastry Chef

A source tells me Wednesday Wild-Wilson is leaving Paley’s, because she is expecting a baby. Right now she is working with replacement NYC Pastry Chef Lauren Fortgang. Lauren, formerly pastry chef at Hearth in Manhattan’s East Village, reportedly started last week. Wild will be leaving at the end of this month. Right now the menu has three new desserts by Lauren.

I find this incredibly annoying, as I finished all of my meals to update my review of Paley’s last weekend, and have almost finished writing them up. For the sake of accuracy, I’ll hold my review for now, and swing by next week for some desserts. I guess I’ll have to try every one on the menu to make sure I get hers.

    Sorry JJ, a comment with the words “Wednesday Wild” shook the spam filter so hard it woke me up from my nap.

    I haven’t heard what the story is with her. My guess is, she may have been gone for a bit.
