From a reader comes word that Lagniappe on Alberta closed last week. According to the reader, “the new owners — one very familiar-looking and another older guy are opening “an American diner” by next month. They are keeping the video lottery machines, to my dismay.” Seems to me an American diner should have pinball machines, but then I’ve never quite grown up, and like to dream. Anyway, that’s all I know at this point.
